Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is an authentication method where a user is granted access only after successfully confirming the log-in attempt. By default it is enabled for all users (account owners and subusers).

  1. Go to Rentals United and log in to your account by providing the log-in and password details.

  2. The MFA notification is displayed. This means a verification email has been sent your email address.

  3. Go to your inbox and confirm the log-in attempt. You can do it by clicking the link in the message or copying the provided URL and pasting it in your browser. Please, see the exemplary email message below.

  4. You will be redirected to the Rentals United platform.

Note: The verification link is valid for 15 minutes only. If this time passes and you will still use this link, you will be notified in the platform that the link has expired. Then, the log-in credentials must be provided again and a new email will be sent.

MFA settings

If you are the account owner, you can change the MFA settings in the Security tab in main menu. Read more about the security settings here.
